Pros:Dell Refurb, I believe. I checked on the Dell site using the service tag and it presents to have shipped from Dell about 3 weeks before I had ordered it from Newegg. <-- That pleased me.Has Bluetooth, Finger Print Scanner, an OK Camera, and a nice Display (plenty bright, consistent backlight, with no bad pixels). <-- Also a nice surprise.Fast Fulfillment - ordered Sunday PM, Processed Monday, Received on Thursday.I'd grade the appearance & condition as an A - only minor signs of use (light scratches by the USB ports, minor scratches adjacent to display hinge).
Cons:These are not inconsistent with Newegg's assertions:1) Keycaps were not new, but rather stickers over the orig caps. It negatively affects back lighting - meh, not unexpected for an inexpensive machine with these specs.2) Stylus is MIA. <-- I am sad about this one. But, an expensive machine that was freshly refurbed by the OEM and inexpensive makes this more than acceptable.3) The display pivot mechanism is not as tight as I had expected it to be, and the detents, when the display is centered or at the stops are pretty worn and not of much use - again, not unexpected for a used machine with these specs.

Overall Review:A) OS Shipped was Win7Pro, with no updates (needed over 200, some of which failed hard and eventually got the machine into an update loop). NOT Newegg's fault, just typical MS/OEM stuffs. B) I fought with Win 7 for some time trying to get the drivers and Dell software working for the Finger Print Scanner. After updates from MS, the box got into an update loop. Ended up putting Win8 Pro and some 170+ updates later, I am up to speed and ready for Win 10. The Finger Print Scanner was directly supported by Win8, so no trickery was needed, like it is in Win7C) My XT3 shipped with 2ea 2GB memory modules. I slapped in 2ea 4GB modules I had from another (non-XT3 donor) laptop. 8GB is the max the box will accept. Runs really smooth with 8.1 and 8GB RAM.D) THIS IS A BIGGIE: The monitor refresh rate, if not at 60Hz, causes some seriously extreme touchscreen wonky-ness, after Win 8 was installed. The touchscreen is designed for a 60Hz display refresh rate. When the display's util/config is installed, at least on my setup, the defaults were set to 40Hz in the 'standard' AND 'on-battery' config. This caused a painful evolution, requiring some substantive gymnastics to discover what the root cause was, and then getting it resolved via the Intel HD Graphics SysTray tool. Don't default to thinking the touchscreen is faulty if you install Win 8 and then it seems a gazillion random touches are occurring. Once I changed the default to 60Hz and disabled battery profile change to 40Hz refresh, the touchscreen issues became non-existent.
